The Winter screening window opened January 6th and runs five weeks. Don’t get caught off guard by winter weather and flu season - make sure to plan enough time to complete screening within the window. When administering aReading and aMath remember to check the teacher’s screening view for red or black flags that indicate a problem with the test.

There is a new feature anticipated for a January 10th release in Panorama Student Success that will give schools the capability to securely share a student’s intervention plan with parents/guardians. Educators will have the option to generate and send a unique, secure link that summarizes a student's invention plan and growth. Parents/guardians can use the link for up to 45 days to view the plan and updates after they validate access by confirming the student’s birth date. Before using this new feature, school teams are strongly encouraged to review the following to increase confidentiality and clarity of the shared intervention information:
- Make sure that the intervention and progress monitoring data are set up correctly and make sense. Correct any errors in setup.
- Make sure that any teacher notes on the intervention are appropriate for parents to view.
- Make sure any shared group intervention plans were written with no individually identifiable student information where others may see it (see the Parent Notification Overview for additional information)
Panorama is gathering information about other assessments that could potentially be imported into Student Success. School leaders, if you haven’t already done so, please take a few minutes to respond to this survey. https://forms.gle/fWFdicUUbAn196D57. We don’t have a target date to start importing new assessments, but this information will help us plan. If you wish to plan ahead, make sure to use State Student IDs universally within your assessment systems. The most common problem we run into with importing assessments is the lack of consistent, accurate student ID numbers.
