The Iowa MTSS team hopes that you all are enjoying some rest and recreation this summer. This message has one urgent note and a few reminders related to preparing for the new school year.
- No action is needed for FastBridge rollover. The process is fully automated and the Iowa Department of Education support team handles the majority of the setup for the new school year in FastBridge for you. Please do not make changes to settings for the screening periods, assessment setup or Roster Sync. You may cause damage to your district setup by making changes to any of these settings.
- Ignore FastBridge rollover/setup instructions that are not in Iowa Resources or do not come from the Iowa support team via emails like these.

- FAST Rosters may take 2+ weeks to load after the FAST system rollover. Before we can start processing your rosters the following must be completed by you:
- Your district’s SIS and SIF agent has been rolled over to display and send 2024-25 data.
- Your district has enrolled students, scheduled them into classes and they have valid student state IDs (needed to build rosters) in your SIS.
- Important: changing roster import settings in FAST will result in delays or damaged data. If you have questions, please use the ticket system.
- Panorama will start displaying 2024-25 rosters around August 7th, if rosters are ready in your SIS (see above).
- EdPortal will start processing 2024-25 roles and assignments shortly. Your SIS must also be sending 2024-25 data (SIF rolled over) and user roles must be assigned.
- If you have new staff coming from other districts, make sure they update their existing EdPortal account with their new email address and home district. Contact the EdPortal help desk if assistance is needed. ed.portal@iowa.gov or 515-725-2040
- Please use the relevant ticket system for help with FastBridge and/or Panorama.
- Make sure your new staff and administrators are signed up for this MTSS email list
- The default assessment selection process reopens August 1 for updates and for those that did not complete the collection in the spring. Please make sure this is completed by August 17. Additional communications will come from the CASA system for this collection.
