Panorama has released a new Interventions Dashboard. The report is not connected to any accountability initiative in Iowa but can be used as a tool to monitor PM practices and effectiveness. The Interventions Dashboard offers a quick, high level view to check and explore the status of intervention plans related to PM data collection and student goals.
Who can see the dashboard?
This report is most useful at the building level, although the district, AEA or State levels may offer aggregated views that can be helpful at times. The dashboard is not available to those with a Classroom User role only and users who do not have access to student level data (i.e. users with State or AEA Summary role only). Classroom Users do have similar functionality within their intervention views at the students level.
Overview
Please note that the visuals below are from the district level.
The Interventions Dashboard displays tiles and charts centered around three statistics
Plans up to date This summary is based on PM completion based on entered or imported progress monitoring data.
Plans on track This summary is based on student progress toward the intervention goal. The accuracy of the data shown here depends on all of the intervention plans using an accurate start score and goal.
Completed plans with goal met This summary is based on teacher judgment of goal met/not met, NOT on the progress monitoring data. It is important to make sure that everyone knows how to interpret the PM graph data in order to make the correct determination of whether the goal has been met when closing out an intervention.
Navigating the Interventions Dashboard
Use the View By options and filters on the left side to explore the data in various ways.
Graphs scroll horizontally if there are more elements to display than will fit on the graph.
Hover on the chart bars to display data in numbers and click on the Details button to open a larger display of the graph and table view of the data. To sort the table data, click the column header.
Within the district view or higher, clicking on the school name on the chart takes you to the Intervention Plans page for that school. Note: you will only be able to see the intervention plans that you have access to based on your user role.
Click on the navigation arrow next to the header to return to the previous page.
