FAQ: PM Data Not Populating into Intervention Plan

We're getting a lot of questions about progress monitoring data that is not populating into the intervention plan in Student Success, even though it's visible on the student's profile page. If you have a situation where the student's PM data is visible on the year-long graph on students profile in Student Success (if you click on the student's name) but is not visible in the intervention, it is very likely you just need to select the PM by grade level.

You must select a measure with the grade level in parenthesis for any FastBridge assessment that has grade levels associated with it in order for data to populate into the Intervention Plan/Graph. This is to make sure that the system knows which grade level of PM to use in the rare cases where there are PM data for multiple grade levels.

For example, when monitoring students with CBMReading, you will need to select "CBMReading (Grade XX)" in order for the system to connect the data to the intervention. See screenshot below for the example:

If you've already set up your Intervention Plans with the generic version of the PM measure, it's an easy fix. Anyone on the intervention plan team can edit the setup to select the correct grade level of the PM measure. You may need to allow overnight for all of the data to reconnect.

For instructions on how to edit a plan, see Manage Student Interventions or Manage Group Intervention Plans

Note: If the PM data is not visible anywhere on the student's profile or in the intervention, that's likely a different issue so you'll want to submit a support request.
